This is a residential tree pruning project in Rogers, AR.
Our client in Rogers, AR called to get a quote on removing two trees in the front of her house because she was going to put it on the market to sell. Initially, she thought that it would look better to have the incredibly neglected and over grown trees removed.
She is a friend of one of the owners. And, after looking at the property and knowing her situation, we suggested that we prune the trees and remove the vines, instead of removing them completely.
We knew she couldn’t really afford to have them removed for two specific reasons:
- The ground under the trees had been shaded for so long that there was nothing but bare dirt under them. Removing them would have required her to not only spends several thousand dollars more than the pruning price, but she would have to have the yard graded and sodded for it to be presentable to show to potential buyers.
- We knew we could make the stately Pecan (on the left) look great. Since a yard with trees is more attractive to potential buyers, it would make her house more appealing for sale.
Rogers, AR – Tree pruning
We removed the large low limbs that were blocking the view of the house, as well as a large leaning stem which had grown into the Red Maple (on the right side). This caused the Maple canopy to be misshapen, leaning heavily to one side. Once we removed the large stem growing into the Maple, we selectively pruned back the remaining upper canopy limbs on the rest of the tree to reshape it and make it look more balanced.
The neighbors who drove by stopped and marveled at the new look of the house, giving our crew many thumbs up and compliments.
The homeowner was thrilled when she came home and saw the new look of her front yard. Once the work was one, she sold her house in 1 day.
