Consulting Arborists are experts on trees and tree care. They can bring much needed objectivity to a variety of projects and endeavors. As ISA Certified Master Arborists, our goals are to ensure the health, safety and preservation of trees, people and properties through comprehensive and thorough consulting.
At Mockingbird Tree Care, we are Consulting Arborists who are qualified and experienced tree experts, with the experience and qualifications in the field of arboriculture.
Why would we need a Consulting Arborists?
There are many reasons why someone would call a Consulting Arborist. Even though trees are necessary for life, they can create issues for property owners, developers, municipalities and many others.
As an example, if there is a local ordinance on the preservation of certain trees, a Consulting Arborist can be called in during project planning meetings to ensure that the contractor knows exactly what they must do to preserve those trees on the property.
In this instance, their role as a Consulting Arborist is to ensure that thorough evaluation, appraisal, documentation are performed, and that there is a clear direction for the protection of those trees.
You should note that in a consulting role, an Arborist may not perform the actual work. Their role is one of guidance. Every project is different and we’re happy to discuss it with you.

Mockingbird Tree Care qualifications
ISA Certified Arborists, TCIA Certified Tree Care Professionals and ISA Risk Assessment Qualified, to ensure your trees are properly cared for, and that your family and home are kept safe.
WE ARE Certified TREECARE SAFETY PROFESSIONALS by the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) – which means that we (I) have taken a course, passed a test, and maintain ongoing CEU’s regarding working safely specifically in and around tree work. It is a very focused course that highlights training, techniques, and safe work practices as related to tree work.
WE ARE TREE RISK ASSESSMENT QUALIFIED by the International Society of Arboriculture – which means that we (I) have taken a course, passed a test, and retained a Qualification (for 5 years at a time) that teaches us (me) how to assess individual tree health by using standardized qualification measurements to determine the health of a tree and how/if it poses a risk to ‘target’ areas around the tree.
